Student Announcements
January 11, 2010

1. At the December Board meeting, the Cotati-Rohnert Park Unified School District Governing Board approved a revised calendar for the current school year that has five fewer school days than the original calendar for the 2009-2010 school year. School will now end on Friday, June 4. An electronic copy of the calendar will be sent home later this week. If you do not receive one, copies are available at the Tech High office or on the District’s website.

Parents of Seniors-Please note: Due to Friday, June 4, being an SSU Furlough Day, Person Theatre is not available for the graduation ceremony. The THS 2010 Graduation is re-scheduled for Thursday, June 3 at 3:00 pm. in the SSU Person Theatre. A reception will follow the ceremony. More information about graduation will be sent in the future. School-related activities for graduating seniors will be held on Friday, June 4 and graduates will receive their diploma at that time.

Please contact the Tech High office if you have any questions about the school calendar.

2. Interested in the environment? A meeting to determine interest in an Environmental Club will take place Wednesday, January 13th at 3:00pm in Mrs. Brown’s classroom. All THS students are welcome to attend.

3. Need Community Service Hours? Can you help create a website? A local pre-school is looking for help in creating a school website. Please see Mr. Littlefield if you are interested in these community service hours.

Prom Deposit ($25) due by December 11

December 7, 2009 · No Comments · Uncategorized

RESERVE YOUR PROM TICKET

It’s that time again! Prom Committee is in full swing and our first deposit has been paid. This confirmed our date of May 8 on the Hornblower Yacht. We are now taking deposits to hold a student’s space for prom. Because we have chosen “Ka-Boom” weekend, which includes fireworks on the bay, the price this year was a bit higher. We are trying to offset that by fundraising which will go on throughout the school year.

Because of the size of the boat, it can only accommodate 140 students. Your space can be reserved by sending in a deposit of $25.00 by December 11, 2009. Please make checks payable to Technology High School. Please be on the lookout for future fundraisers.

In the meantime, remember the Hornblower only holds 140 people. So, don’t lose out. Reserve your spot now!
